JOIN THE WOMEN’S BIBLE STUDY ON 1 & 2 SAMUEL!

All women are invited to join us to study the life of David this coming 2023-2024 year. We have two different options for you to choose from.

There will be Tuesday Morning Bible Study (with childcare) in Redeemer's Lower Warehouse from 9:30-11:30. If daytime does not work for your schedule, you can join us at night, from 6:30-8:30 at Susanna Needham's house in Watkinsville. Both Bible Studies will be studying the books of 1+2 Samuel throughout this coming year.

We request that you sign up for either study as soon as possible and when you sign-up, the book that we will be using will be ordered for you.

The narrative brought to us in the books of 1st and 2nd Samuel is of a people who wanted what the world had, a man who was chosen to be their king and a God who worked his sovereign promise to bring about the salvation of a kingdom. In these two books we'll study Eli, Hannah, Samuel, Saul, Jonathan, Nathan, King David and a host of others who the Lord used in bringing about an eternal kingdom through which He will save His beloved people. These are all imperfect people who struggled with sin and the brokenness of this world just as we all do. Some sought the Lord and some turned away...but all tell us of a merciful, faithful, and loving God who pursues his chosen ones and forever keeps his covenant promises.

Kristin Sigalas

WOMEN’S MINISTRY DIRECTOR

Kristin has had the privilege of working at Redeemer since 2001. She and her husband George were born and raised in California, came to Athens in 1992 because of UGA, but were so taken with the town and people that they made it their home. She loves the planning and adventures of travel, a good conversation over strong black coffee or tea, and listening to people's stories, good jokes or puns.
