Sundays @ Rpc

Sunday Mornings

We gather together every Sunday for worship through music, reading the Bible, praying, teaching, and celebrating Communion.

When should I arrive?

Sunday School for all ages is at 9:15 AM and our worship service begins at 10:30 AM.  We suggest you arrive a few minutes early to find a seat and say hello!

What should I wear?

Please wear whatever is most comfortable for you. We're a church for people from all walks of life-- you will see some people dressed casually, and others more formally.

What should I do with my children?

Nursery is available for kids aged 0-4, with a special Preparation for Worship Class for 4-year-olds during the sermon. Other than that, we welcome children to sit and worship alongside parents during the service.

Sunday Parking

General parking is available on both sides of the main building on Pulaski Street and by the Upper Building (122 spots). There is also a lower Redeemer Lot on the corner of Broad Street and Newton- take the wooden stairs up to the church! Additional free street parking can be found along Clayton, Hull, and Washington Streets. The Washington Street Parking deck is also available for free Sunday parking downtown (540 spots.) There’s also a bike rack right out front! Greeters and signage will help you locate your Sunday School class and/or sanctuary when you arrive.

Sunday School

At Redeemer we want our minds to be renewed in the knowledge of the Truth, and our hearts filled with love toward the triune God, so that our lives are being transformed by the power of the gospel. To that end, we seek to provide consistently solid, careful instruction for members of all ages, in the areas of Scripture, Theology, and Practical Christian Living. Our primary avenue of Christian Education is Sunday School, which meets (for children 2yrs-5th, middle school, high school, and college students/adults) from 9:15 until 10:15 every Sunday morning (except for the month of June.) Four-year-olds can also attend a Prep-for-Worship class during the service. // More information on Sunday School at Redeemer

Getting Connected

The best way to know what's happening around Redeemer on a monthly basis is by signing up for the monthly email newsletter! This gets sent out at the start of every month with upcoming events, prayer requests, and more.

Community Groups (which will resume in September!) are a door to the life of Redeemer Presbyterian Church, and it is our hope that everyone who attends our church will engage with the body of Christ in this way. Through small groups, individuals are able to explore God’s word in the context of genuine care for one another. It is within these small communities that men and women can build personal relationships and practice applying the gospel to their lives. Each group expects to experience Jesus Christ in its midst, enabling participants to be transformed through mutual ministry and to experience life in the family of God. // More about Community Groups

We also have many other ministries at the church: RPCyouth, men's & women's ministries, RUF (college)Renew, Redeemer Young Adults, & Redeemer Kids

The Inquirer’s Class happens during the Sunday School several times a year. The next class will start in the fall. This Sunday-School-hour class will focus on the beliefs and practices of Redeemer. You’ll learn how we think about ministry as well as how to get involved yourself. There will be lots of time for questions and discussion. If you’re considering membership, you should come to this class, but it’s also for anyone who would like to know more about what we do and why we do it.
